That’s why every Milwaukee® tool purchased in the U.S. and Canada automatically comes with a warranty, sparing you the hassle of having to register or sign up.

What does my warranty cover?

If your tool is under warranty, all repairs and part replacements are done free of charge.

A Milwaukee warranty protects you from any defects in material and workmanship, and will cover everything except:

  • Damage caused during a repair attempted by non-Milwaukee personnel.

  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or alterations to the tool.

  • Damage from lack of maintenance, or normal wear and tear that has exhausted the life of the tool or part.

How long does my warranty last?

Milwaukee warranties are usually “limited” to a range of one to five years. Some have a “lifetime” warranty or guarantee that lasts the entire lifespan of the tool. The term of a warranty begins from the date of purchase.

How do I use my warranty?

We can repair your tool at one of our nineteen factory locations, or any one of the hundreds of other authorized Milwaukee service centers in the U.S.

You can find a service center near you by calling 1-800-SAWDUST or entering your location here.

When you’re ready, you can send your tool in to the service center with free shipping from one of our 8,000 Fed-Ex locations.

TIP: If you have it, send a receipt along with your tool to prove the time of purchase and verify the status of your warranty. If you don’t have a receipt, don’t worry: we can use your tool’s serial number instead.

Once your tool is received, our factory technicians will complete all repairs within seven to ten days.

Your tool will then be sent directly back to you free of charge!
