All you need to do to help track tools is have the app downloaded on your smartphone or mobile device and have tool tracking properly configured. Here’s how you can help track tools on an Android device without having a One-Key account or being signed into one:
- Download the app on your Android device from the Google Play store.
- Open the app on your smartphone or mobile device and tap the blue “Get Started” button.
- On the Get Started screen, tap “Help Track Tools.”
- Ensure the blue toggle button at the bottom of your screen is fully engaged to the right and all of the tracking permissions above this button are fully engaged with green check marks.
- You’ll also want to ensure you’ve enabled location at the device level; to do this, open your app settings and tap Apps.
- Find and tap ONE-KEY™, then tap Permissions.
- Once here, ensure Location is toggled on.

How to Help Track Tools without Creating an Account on iOS
All you need to do to help track tools is have the app downloaded on your smartphone or mobile device and have tool tracking properly configured. Here’s how you can help track tools on an iOS device without having a One-Key account or being signed into one:
- Download the app on your iOS device from the Apple App Store.
- Open the app on your smartphone or mobile device and tap the blue “Get Started” button.
- On the Get Started screen, tap “Help Track Tools.”
- The next screen will show you a prompt to configure tool tracking permissions properly at the device level. You’ll want “Bluetooth” and “Location” to both be enabled.
- To do this, visit your device settings, scroll down and find ONE-KEY™ and tap into it.
- Once here, first ensure Bluetooth is toggled on.
- Then, tap into Location and select “Always,” and toggle “Precise Location” on.
- Now when you open the app, Bluetooth and Location should read "Enabled" and accuracy should read "Full."
